Twitter Campaign to Save Fringe

This idea is just so new and fresh that I had to share it.  In a society that is ruled by social media the owner of the blog Fringenuity has come up with a unique way to show the TV execs at FOX that there is interest for Fringe.  And she doing this via Twitter.

Each week she comes up with a new hashtag that members of the Twitterverse can use in order to get Fringe to trend.  She goes into a detailed description in her blog post (The Science of Fringenuity) but basically it boils down to this:  Twitter hashtags only trend for unique items at given times, so trying to get #Fringe to trend over a long period of time wouldn’t work well.  Instead she chooses new hashtags every week in order to get something new trending a cause a greater impact.

She goes into a much better description on her blog, so check it out.  And if you like Fringe and are a Twitter user then the time to join in is now.

That actually makes much more sense. Otherwise it would have been just one super-fan. Either way the work is impressive
